Faraday’s first law: Analysis of the duration of an electrolysis - Digital

Description

Faraday's law describes the relationship between the charge applied and the amount of substance obtained in an electrolysis. In preparation for Faraday's 1st Law, the students explore the relationship between the duration of electrolysis and the mass of the electrolysis product in this experiment. They realise that the relationship is linear. This experiment introduces the proportionality between electrolysis time and yield.
