Plasmolysis and deplasmolysis
Plasmolysis and deplasmolysis

Description

In this experiment, the students study the process of plasmolysis and deplasmolysis using onion cells as an example. For this purpose, an onion cell preparation is treated with saline solution (plasmolysis) as well as pure water (deplasmolysis). The resulting plasmolysis/deplasmolysis is observed by the students under the microscope.
