Blind spot

LB1.1.3.1
Blind spot

Description

The “blind spot” is the part of the visual field that is created by the exit point of the optic nerve. There are no light receptors (cones and rods) there, so there is a local visual field loss. In this experiment, the students determine their “blind spot” and calculate its size using the 2nd law of rays.
