Description
Taraxacum officinale, enlarged approx. 8 times, made in SOMSO-Plast. After Prof. Dr. W. Weber. Dandelions belong to the group of Compositae that only have ligulate flowers. The inflorescence is longitudinally sectioned. Even further enlarged partial models portray a fruit with its pappus, an aid in dissemination, and a single ligulate flower. The individual flower and fruit can be removed from the base with explanatory note.
