Description

Secale cereale, model enlarged approx. 25 times, made in SOMSO-Plast. After Prof. Dr. W. Jung and Prof. Dr. W. Weber. The separable model (in 4 parts) shows the typical structure of an ear of grass: the outer husk, aristate husk, front husk, swollen body, and hermaphroditic blossom (3 spoon-shaped stamens, nodes with pollen sacs and two feather-shaped stigma). On a stand with base and explanatory note.
