Description

With the LD biosphere a host of parameters can be measured individually or in combination.
It is an closed system, in which the effects of changed environmental condition can be observed and measured with plants. The influence of pollutants or different air composition can be examined. Plexiglass dome complete with all GL screw connections and seals.

Possible experiments (selection):
- Change in air composition due plant growth and germination
- Effect of light intensity and wavelength of the light on plant growth (photosynthesis rate) and germination
- Effects of temperature and humidity
- Effect of air pollutants on plants and materials (e.g. materials)
- Influence on germination of gaseous materials (e.g. ethylene from ripe apples)
- Proof of soil respiration
- Development of heat due to respiration of plants
