Determining the Faraday efficiency of the electrolyser - Digital

LC6.1.2.4C
Determining the Faraday efficiency of the electrolyser - Digital
Determining the Faraday efficiency of the electrolyser - Digital

Description

In this experiment, the students compare the amount of hydrogen actually produced by a reversible PEM fuel cell with the theoretically expected amount of hydrogen. This is used to determine the Faraday efficiency of the electrolyser.
