The excretory system has the task of removing waste products from the organism. The most important organ in this system is the kidney, which filters the blood and forms urine. The lungs, liver and skin are other organs that are part of the excretory system.
This film explains the importance of excretion and the function of the individual organs. It also highlights their close co-operation with other organ systems such as the circulatory system.
