Course investigating the basics of a three-phase system. Practical exercises show, for example, the generation of the rotating fields or the function of the transformer. Furthermore, passive components in different circuits are discussed. Coils, capacitors and resistors are analysed and evaluated in different combinations. An 8-channel oscilloscope enables the simultaneous measurement of all voltages and currents in the three-phase system.

The experiment board is placed in a stable course frame. The Master Unit (700020, sold separately) is slid onto the course frame and connected to the board. The security lock ensures secure communication.
The power supply and control of the experimental board is provided by the Master Unit. The experiments are wired with 2 mm safety cables (700022, sold separately).
Course content, experiment instructions and tasks are taught via course-specific software.
The COM3LAB software contains courses in all supported languages and the current version can be downloaded from www.ld-didactic.de for free. Alternatively, the COM3LAB software can also be obtained on DVD (70000CBT).
