Diffusion

LC3.2.1.1
Diffusion
Diffusion

Description

Particles never lie still because of Brownian motion. The strength of the movement largely depends on the size of the particle and the temperature. Because of this constant movement, there is always a “natural mixing” when there are differences in concentration. This equalisation of concentration through particle motion is called diffusion. In this experiment, the students explore the influence of temperature on diffusion.
