Description

The standard potentials of the non-metals bromine, iodine and chlorine are established in experiments. For this purpose, the corresponding metal salt solutions are electrolysed and then measured against a simplified standard hydrogen electrode (platinum mesh electrode in 1 molar hydrochloric acid).
