Self-heating and temperature sensitivity in wire-wound resistors

LP3.3.6.1
Self-heating and temperature sensitivity in wire-wound resistors
Self-heating and temperature sensitivity in wire-wound resistors

Description

The students explore the way in which the resistance of a metal changes when it is heated. To do this, they use different wires of different alloys and realise that the temperature dependence of the resistance is material-specific.
