Description

For use with the X-ray apparatus (554 801) for recording energy X-ray spectra in connection with Sensor-CASSY (524 013) and MCA box (524 058). The detector contains a thermoelectric cooled silicon PIN detector as well as the electronics for amplification and processing of voltage pulses. The amplitude of the output pulses is proportional to the energy of the X-ray photons.
