Description

This module may be plugged on to the unineuron (662 213) or on to the demonstration neuron (662 216) in the region of the cell's body. It simulates the change in sensitivity of the neuron due to internal and external influences. The level of the sensitivity change is continuously adjustable via a rotary knob. Turning the knob to the left increases sensitivity: a small stimulus at the input produces a large response at the output; turning the knob to the right reduces sensitivity until all conduction ceases.
