Description

Students investigate current and voltage in a damped LC osvillator. The experiment provides a good introduction to the topic of electromagnetic oscillations, particularly due to its many practical examples and applications. students should carry out investigations to determine the period T and the frequency f. In addition, they analyse the processes of an oscillation using the recorded measurement data. In the additional task, they use Thomson's oscillation equation to determine the inductance L of the coil.
