COM4LAB: DC Technology II

The COM4LAB course entitled “DC Technology II” is the second course on the fundamentals of DC technology. Characteristics of various passive electrical components are recorded and the basic circuit types in electrical engineering are practically devised using a number of experiments. The course comprises 15 chapters.

Learning objectives

The students should be able to:

• record the characteristics of passive electrical components and
• understand the behaviour of passive electrical components such as capacitors, coils and batteries.

Previous knowledge

The students do not need any previous knowledge of electrical engineering in order to be able to complete the course successfully. Dealing with simple formulas is, however, required.
