Description

The students learn that the contact electricity that is generated by friction can have 2 types of charge. These can be detected with the glow lamp.

In this experiment, the students generate contact electricity by rubbing a PVC rod and an acrylic glass rod against an induction plate. The students learn that this can have 2 types of charge, which they detect with a glow lamp.
