Description

The object of the experiment P6.3.7.2 is to record directly the energy spectra of the scattered X-rays with the X-ray energy detector as a function of the scattering angle ϑ. The energy E(ϑ) of the scattered photons at different angles is determined and compared with the calculated energy obtained from conservation of energy and momentum by using the relativistic expression for the energy:
