Description

For experiments on rotational oscillations and measurements on the moment of inertia I of different bodies from the oscillation period. With shaft on ball bearings, helical spring and dumbbell-shaped test-object with movable weights, including a holding rod.

Restoring torque of the spiral spring: 0.05 Nm/rad
Length of rod for test bodies: 60 cm
Movable weights: 0.24 kg each
Period of oscillation: 0.5 s to 5 s (depending on set-up of weights)
Height of the torsion axle: 20 cm
