Lockable box for safety-relevant components (incl. 2 padlocks)

This lockable security box offers the possibility to protect keys or other security-relevant components from unauthorised access. By attaching several locks, even multi-personal access protection can be created (group lockout). The box can be fixed to a wall bracket using the quick-release fastener inside or used as a mobile unit.

This box is ideally suited for access protection to high-voltage-relevant parts of hybrid and electric vehicles whose HV system has been switched off. By storing the ignition key as well as the maintenance plug, the HV system cannot be put back into operation without permission ("Secure against restarting").

An "authorisation group" can already be realised by means of the two padlocks supplied. The student locks the box with one lock and the instructor with another. This means that only the instructor can release the box. With the help of the master key, however, the instructor always has full access authorisation.
