PC adapter for analyzing CAN bus messages. Both low-speed and high-speed buses can be connected. The new CAN-FD is also supported.
This set consists of:
Hardware CAN adapter
CAN bus USB adapter (opto-isolated) for connection to the USB port of the computer.
The supplied MC adapter cable (9-pin DSub plug and 4 mm safety plugs) is used for connection to a LEYBOLD CAN bus system.
The supplied OBD adapter cable (9-pin DSub plug according to CiA® 102 and 16-pin OBD-2 plug) is used to be connected to an OBD-2 socket of a functional engine or of the (didactic)vehicle.
Software (German and English)
The program is a CAN bus viewer for Windows. It enables CAN messages to be sent and received. Existing networks can be checked or set up quickly.
The measurement of the bus load including error frames and overload frames is just as possible as the induced generation of errors for incoming and outgoing CAN messages.
