System
The teaching system works with transparent hydraulic components. The complete system is used to teach the basics and advanced topics of hydraulics.

Hydraulic function
LD Didactic hydraulic elements are operated with red-coloured hydraulic oil. The white base plate increases the contrast. A maximum operating pressure of 10 bar (1 MPa) enables safe experimentation. The transparent connecting hoses and the additionally introduced air bubbles allow the learner to follow the flow paths completely: from the pressure connection of the pump to the tank connection. The teaching system teaches the basics of hydraulics in three stages.
Method
The experimenter learns in an action-orientated way using practical, realistic examples based on tasks from the literature. The basis is the use of measuring devices to determine pressure and the behaviour of the hydraulic components in the individual circuits.
Target group
Vocational training in the industrial sector specialising in mechanics, mechatronics, automotive and electrical engineering. Also suitable for students studying for a bachelor's degree.
