Digital Liquid Controlled System

Compact controlled system for flow and level experiments. Depending on the mode of operation, the controlled system exhibits integral or proportional behaviour with dead time. Storage tank and measurement tank are accessible from the outside and allow direct visual inspection of the control variables. For level measurement and control, a calibrated pressure sensor is integrated. A built-in flowmeter with integrated PID controller allows you to measure and control the liquid flow. The self-priming, bidirectionally operating gear pump allows the measuring tank to fill and drain actively. The electronics includes a power amplifier, adapter circuits, an adaptive digital controller, two three-digit 7-segment displays for liquid flow and level and tendency indicators. Externally adjustable valves allow the investigation of practical fill and discharge situations. The low-maintenance, closed liquid circuit uses coloured silicone oil as an antikorosive test fluid. To control and for the evaluation of this technical controlled system, particularly Profi-CASSY (524016) and the software CASSY Lab 2 (524220) are suitable.
