System
Many technical applications and systems depend on accurate measurements and monitoring. Transducers are essential components of the measurement process, so studying the different types of transducers, how they work and how their output signals can be processed is basic knowledge for students.
Functions
The TK2942-001 transducer set introduces students to the concepts and understanding of common transducer devices and common signal conditioning methods through 28 excellent hands-on exercises. It consists of the TK2941M measurement package, the TK2941E electromechanical transducer set, the TK2941H thermal transducer set, the TK2941L light transducer set, the 01-100 power supply and includes all cables and accessories.
Students carry out the experiments as described in the printed manual. Handheld multimeters and oscilloscopes are used to measure the properties of sensors.
Target group
Commercial vocational training and students of automation and control technology. The course includes experiments at an intermediate level for vocational schools and bachelor programmes.
