Description

Science Lab is a modular experiment system for the subjects of physics, chemistry and biology for use in student experiments. This modern student experiment system can also be used at vocational schools.

This system concept makes it possible to adapt to a wide range of requirements based on regional and national curricula, textbooks, age groups and educational levels.

For student experiments outside of electrics and further details, we recommend taking a look at our extensive Science Lab catalogue of the science portfolio.

Learning objectives

Student experiments in electrics

  • teach the correct handling of measuring equipment for measuring current and voltage,
  • enable circuit diagram-like setups and thus facilitate the transfer between circuit diagrams in textbooks and self-designed circuits,
  • provide knowledge about permanent magnets and enable model experiments on geomagnetism,
  • experimentally explore the areas of electromagnetism and induction and their significance for everyday life (e.g. bell/relay),
  • establish the connection between physics and chemistry in practical experiments on electrochemistry,
  • allow electrostatic phenomena to be carried out both quantitatively and qualitatively,
  • introduce the programming of microcontrollers.
