LabView Guide for CASSY SCADA

One way to control the Power Analyser CASSY Plus (PAC+) and to visualise measurement data is to use LabVIEW. This Lab Doc is intended to illustrate the LabVIEW control of the PAC+ by describing an example application. The LabView application presented here maps almost all exposed functions of the PAC+ in LabVIEW. It can therefore also be used as a graphical user interface (GUI) for the Power Analyser. However, the GUI and the LabVIEW program are primarily exemplary and a template for own further developments and extensions of the LabVIEW code and not for measuring and experimenting.

First, a description of the GUI is given. Then the block diagram of LabVIEW.vi and the program architecture are described in more depth. Individual components of the block diagram are explained in detail.

The guide assumes a basic knowledge of LabVIEW.
