Stimulus rivalry and chromatic adaptation

Description

In this experiment, the students look at the effect of colour constancy. They use red-cyan glasses for this. They learn that the cones become less sensitive to a wavelength when it is permanently illuminated, thus compensating for natural fluctuations in ambient light. Coloured objects therefore always appear to us in the same colour even in different lighting environments.
