Voltage controller LIN bus

This unit can be operated on the 738711-01 generator instead of the 738711-02 multifunction controller. It is connected to the controller via a 7-pin control cable.

The signals from terminals B + and B- can be recorded on the connection panel, and there are connections for the speed signal. The variation of the output voltage of the generator through the engine control unit can be simulated via the LIN bus.
To do this, the controller is connected to the Battery monitoring, 738 031. Both the sensor for battery monitoring and the generator controller can be accessed via the gateway using self-diagnosis.

The complete LIN bus network consists of:

• Gateway control unit in 738 031 as master
• Sensor for battery monitoring in 738 031-01 as slave 1 and
• Generator controller 738 712 as slave 2
