Description

In the experiment P1.7.5.1, beating of ultrasonic waves is investigated using two transducers which are operated using slightly different frequencies f₁ and f₂. The signal resulting from the superposing of the two individual signals is interpreted as an oscillation with the periodically varying amplitude

The beat frequency f_S determined from the period T_S between two beat nodes and compared with the difference f₂ f₁.
