Description

The experiment P6.5.5.5 records the continuous spectrum of a pure β emitter (Sr-90/Y-90) using the scintillation counter. To determine the energy loss dE/dx of the β particles in aluminum, aluminium absorbers of various thicknesses x are placed in the beam path between the preparation and the detector.
