Our "Workshop Case KNX Expert" has been developed in collaboration with our partner, leading manufacturer of building system technology and co-founder of the KNX Association Gira. The case contains the latest smart home technology from Gira, which trainees can use to learn how to plan and programme KNX-based smart home systems in a practical way. The experimental case simulates realistic living room scenarios of a living room with lighting, heating and blinds, each of which is displayed via LEDs.
The trainees learn how to program, analyse and optimise complex infrastructure systems with ETS for KNX. The scenarios can be flexibly implemented as a one- or two-channel KNX bus structure and, if required, expanded to include a KNX weather station. This makes them qualified experts for smart homes and modern building system technology.
The KNX system can be programmed using the ETS software (not included in the scope of delivery) via the 4-gang network sockets and the internally connected POE (Power Over Ethernet) switch. The built-in socket can be used as a power supply for the programming computer.
The case was developed and designed for optimum use in training. In addition to the high density of state-of-the-art KNX technology, the built-in dimmable LED strip can also be used as a task light and the dimensions of the case allow a good view of the trainees or teaching staff during use.
